TEACHING STAFF CONFERENCE
On January 14, 2022, the final scientific and practical conference of the teaching staff based on the results of research work of 2021 was held at the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods.
The department staff shared their theoretical and practical developments in two directions: methods of teaching foreign languages and linguistics.
The scientific work of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods is carried out in line with these directions on two topics:
1) Modern problems of methods of teaching foreign languages.
2) Features of the functioning of the vocabulary and phraseology of the English and German languages.
The conference was attended by the teaching staff of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods, as well as colleagues from schools in Rybnitsa and the Rybnitsa district. Associate Professor Egorova V.G. and Senior Lecturers of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods Novitskaya N.P. and Solovyanova E.V. were responsible for the section.
During the scientific and practical conference, 13 reports were heard on current topics:
1) Digitization and computerization of society in the field of education (Associate Professor, Candidate of Philology Zadobrivscaia O. F.).
2) Possibilities of blended learning in the modern educational process (Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods Novitskaya N.P.).
3) Problems of distance learning in the professional training of teachers amid the pandemic (Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods Pavlinova I.V.).
4) Psychological patterns of development of pupils’ linguistic abilities (Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods, English teacher of the Municipal Educational Institution “Rybnitsa Russian Gymnasium №1” Chekhovskaya O.L.).
5) Selection of foreign language texts on Internet resources for didactic purposes (Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Statnik O.G.).
6) Features of organizing the testing of students’ knowledge using the Internet service Socrative (Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods Basyuk I.V.).
7) Implementation of the linguo-cultural component in the lessons of a foreign language (Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods Gilevich P.N.).
8) Possibilities for the formation of meta-subject skills of students in blended learning (Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods Argunova V.G.).
9) Scavenger Hunt as a form of active work in class (Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods Podolyan A.S.).
10) Linguistic means of realization of agonality in the review text (Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Their Teaching Methods Solovyanova E.V.).
11) Metagraphemics as a means of controlling attention in the process of perception of an electronic educational text (Associate Professor, Candidate of Philology Russu A.N.).
12) The role of linguistic means in shaping the idea of a fragment of reality (Associate Professor, Candidate of Philology Egorova V.G.).
13) The use of innovative technologies in teaching French (French teacher of the Municipal Educational Institution “Plot Moldavian secondary school named after P. Kruchenyuk” Kiriyak A.L.).
The conference participants showed great interest in the topics discussed and noted the relevance of studying the issues raised.
