REPUBLICAN SEMINAR
As part of the “Day of Science” at the Department of Information Science and Software Engineering, on February 8, 2022, the Republican seminar was held with international participation on the topic “Virtual modeling, visualization and prototyping of multidimensional systems”.
The following areas were planned:
1. Visual modeling of applied software systems.
2. Virtual prototyping when creating applied software systems.
3. Creation of electronic educational materials using the technology of virtual modeling and prototyping.
During the seminar, the following reports were heard:
1. Shcherbovskikh S.V., Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, National University “Lviv Polytechnic”. Application of the application software system Multisim for modeling and prototyping of digital microsystems.
1. Polozkov S.L., methodologist-organizer for informatization of education of the State Educational Institution “Tiraspol Suvorov Military School”. Visualization of educational content in online learning.
2. Getman M.V., head teacher of educational work, teacher of Mathematics and Information Science of the Municipal Educational Institution “Krasnyanskaya Secondary School” (Slobodzeya). Visualization of educational content by means of interactive maps.
3. Glazov A.B., Senior Lecturer of the Rybnitsa branch of the PSU named after. T.G. Shevchenko. Emulation of microcontroller systems.
4. Rytov M.Yu., Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Bryansk State Technical University; Lutsenko I.V., Lecturer of the Rybnitsa branch of the PSU named after T. G. Shevchenko. Mathematical models and methods for solving problems of optimizing the reliability of systems with a complex structure.
5. Koval Ya.E., methodologist-instructor on informatization of education, teacher, Municipal Educational Institution “Dubossary Gymnasium No. 1”. Development and modernization of modern educational materials based on computer simulation.
6. Boyko E.I., Master’s degree student of the Rybnitsa branch of the PSU named after T. G. Shevchenko. Development of interactive workbooks by means of modern web-services.
Summing up the results of the seminar, the participants noted that the topic of the department research work is relevant, since the use of computer models turns the computer into a universal experimental platform. In a computer experiment, complete control over all system parameters is provided, a computer experiment is cheap and safe, a computer can be used to create projects, etc. Computer design allows not only to create, but also to improve the model in a virtual reality environment. This is especially true for educational institutions.
Currently, more and more massive use of virtual prototyping technologies, i.e. the process of creating a virtual (electronic) model of an object is intended for its subsequent reproduction, its comprehensive assessment at the stage of having a virtual prototype, optimization of technological processes for its manufacture.
