OPEN WEEK
As part of the Open Week the Department of Information Science and Software Engineering of the Rybnitsa branch of Pridnestrovian Shevchenko State University held professional events during the school holidays from November 1 to November 4, 2022. Not only the teaching staff, but also activists of student scientific creative associations were involved in organizing the events.
A 3D modeling master class, a content creation master class at Canva allowed schoolchildren to plunge into the world of new objects. The acquired knowledge and skills allow students to prepare visual materials at the level of professional designers and layout designers, while not wasting time for design, completely concentrating on content.
The brain rings “Numbers rule the world” and “Mathematics around us” were aimed not only to expand the horizons of students in various fields of elementary mathematics, but to develop the communicative skills of schoolchildren using collective forms of organizing classes and using modern teaching tools.
At an interactive lesson on the topic “Areas of application of artificial intelligence”, pupils got acquainted with AI technologies and opportunities that open up technologies for an entrepreneur. In the theoretical part of the lesson, pupils got acquainted with the concept of a startup and learned who entrepreneurs are.
Master classes on the topic “Modern gaming technologies” and “Learning the Python language” made it possible not only to study Python programming, which will help become a popular programmer, but also to get acquainted with the personal developments of students of the department within the framework of creative associations.
