CHARITY EVENT
Within the framework of the competition “The Best Monitor” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Rybnitsa branch of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko, the monitor of the 3rd year of the training program “Teacher Education”, specializations “Foreign Language (English)” and “Foreign Language (German)” Dmitrieva Irina organized and held a charity event “Create Good”.
The event was attended by the 3rd year students of the Department of the Germanic Languages and Methods of Their Teaching and pupils of Grades 7-9 of MEI “Rybnitsa Theoretical Lyceum-Complex”. The main purpose of the event was to provide charitable assistance to homeless animals of the city.
Participants of the event prepared sets of blankets, food and medicines for the shelter of sterilization and assistance to homeless animals “White Bim”.
During their staying at the shelter, students and pupils met volunteers who told them about the shelter’s history and challenges, as well as its occupants, including about 100 dogs and 30 cats.
It is clear that such charity events should be held as often as possible, since they contribute to the development of humanity, education of a sense of mutual assistance and compassion among the younger generation and they are an example of voluntary charity activities.
