PRACTICAL LESSON
On October 20, 2023, students of the Department of Applied Information Science in Economics of the Rybnitsa Branch of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko had a practical lesson at Moldavian Steel Works OJSC.
Moldovan Steel Works is a large production enterprise of the city, whose specialists are ready to share their knowledge, history and experience.
The students go on a tour of the plant’s production shops. They see how automation allows to control the process of converting raw materials into liquid steel, the formation of metal bars (continuous cast workpiece), how complex technologies control the quality of products. Then students get acquainted with the production processes, they are invited to visit the factory museum. Experienced employees of the plant share their knowledge of the history of the enterprise, explain the technical aspects and talk about how they manage technological processes.
This tour is a great opportunity for young specialists to feel the real production process and understand its complexity and importance.
OJSC Moldavian Steel Works continues to support the students of the Rybnytsa branch, and provide them with the opportunity to gain knowledge about real production activities. This is a great example of how the industry can collaborate with education to prepare the next generation of professionals.
