CAREER GUIDANCE INTERACTIVE FOR SCHOOLCHILDREN
On October 23 and 24, the first career guidance interactive lesson “The Future with PSU” for schoolchildren of the republic took place in the current academic year. Representatives of the main university and the Rybnitsa branch introduced schoolchildren of the city and the villages of the Rybnitsa district to the Pridnestrovian State University.
In the course of the meeting, it was told to schoolchildren what would help to decide on the profession: the method “I want, I can, I need” was offered, typical mistakes of applicants when choosing a profession and vocation were enumerated. Faculties, branches and institutes of PSU were also represented. The modern material and technical base, convenient bright rooms and highly qualified teaching staff of the state university would help to master any profession available at the university.
Representatives of the Rybnitsa branch: Senior Lecturer of the Department of Applied Information Science in Economics Popik I.I., Specialist of the scientific and educational center Kozak V.V., Specialist of the Department of Social and Cultural Activities Petko T.A. spoke about all the training programs in the Rybnitsa branch of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko. The fourth-year students A.V. Burlaka and E.I. Pikhovskaya shared their practical experience in career guidance, telling how they determined the future profession and decided to enter the University.
At the end of the meeting, schoolchildren were given the opportunity to ask all questions of interest and were invited to an open week at PSU, which will be held during the school holidays.
