METAVERSE PROSPECTS
On November 14, 2023, a branch seminar “Prospects for the Development of the Metaverse” was held at the Department of Applied Information Science in Economics.
The seminar was attended by teachers of the department and students of the IIIrd and IVth courses of the training program “Applied Information Science”, specialization “Applied Information Science in Economics”.
The following reports were presented during the event:
1. Key features of the metaverse (Starodub D.G., Kuzmin D.A.).
2. Metaverse toolkit (Floria S.I., Antosiak D.A.).
3. Advantages and disadvantages of metaverse use (Sheremet D.I.).
4. Prospects for metaverse development (Pikhovskaya E.I.).
All the seminar participants expressed the desire to discuss this area, which is one of the main trends in the development of information technologies in the modern world. The topics addressed in the workshop covered the realities, challenges and perspectives of the digital environment in general, and the metaverse in particular
