MICHAEL ARCHANGEL READINGS
On November 17, 2023 the XVIIIth International Scientific and Practical Conference “Michael Archangel Readings”, timed to celebrate the Day of the city, was held at the Rybnitsa branch of the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko.
The conference was attended by teachers of the Rybnitsa branch, heads and specialists of regional and municipal authorities and enterprises, religious leaders.
In the course of the plenary session, welcoming words by the following people were read to the participants of the international scientific event:
- Sokolov V.V., Rector of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko.
- Most Reverend Vladyka Savva.
- Moldovsky Y.P., Deputy Head of the State Administration of Rybnitsa and the Rybnitsa district.
- Leontiak G.P., Deputy Director for Scientific Work, Professor of the Rybnitsa branch of PSU named after T.H. Shevchenko.
Stepan I. Beryl, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, President of PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko read out the welcome address of the Rector of the Pridnestrovian State University Sokolov V.V., which particularly stated that thanks to the tireless work of Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Savva, clergy and scientific and pedagogical community of the university, the role of Orthodoxy in the educational environment of Pridnestrovie, its influence on the sphere of work with young people was increasing. Our fruitful long-term cooperation had yielded good results and had become a significant contribution to strengthening the moral and spiritual health of our people.
