TO THE 200TH ANNIVERSARY OF G.V. SOROKA’S BIRTH
On November 27, 2023 O.P. Erokhina held a lecture-discussion timed to the 200th anniversary of G.V. Soroka’s birth (1823-1864) in the framework of the work plan of the Office “Russian World”.
In 2023, the Russian cultural community celebrates the 200th anniversary of Grigory V. Soroka’s birth, an original, talented artist with a tragic fate. The basis of G.V. Soroka’s creativity was landscape. Even in his younger years, he charmed others with his ability to convey the beauty of nature through his paintings. His works amazed viewers with tenderness and accuracy in the smallest details. In each picture of the artist you can see his deep view of the world, a unique understanding of the essence of nature.
