THE IMPORTANCE OF IMMUNIZATION
On April 30, 2014 in the PSU named after T. Shevchenko, the branch in Rybnitsa, the physician of Rybnitsa Medical and Diagnostic Rehabilitation Center Kozubskaya L. gave the lectures on the topic
“The importance of immunization”.
Immunization is the process due to which a person acquires the immunity or becomes immune to infectious diseases, usually, by means of vaccinating. Vaccines boost the immune organism system to the man’s protection from an appropriate infection or disease. Immunization is a tested tool for dealing with infectious life-threatening diseases.
Such social aspects as the importance of vaccination, complications, rules of behavior when vaccinating were sounded in the course of the lecture. Statistical data on vaccination of population and possible aftereffects of vaccination were announced. Teachers as well as students got answers to questions they were interested in.
