SUMMER SPORT SEASON IS OPEN
On May 1, 2014 in the central stadium of Rybnitsa the opening ceremony of summer sport season was held.

The State Administration Head Demianova Alla, deputies of the State Administration, representatives of enterprises, institutions and organizations of the city took part in the event. Employees and students of the PSU named after T. Shevchenko, the branch in Rybnitsa, didn’t stand on the sidelines. Every year May holidays are met with competition in track-and-field athletics, tug-of-war, arm wrestling, kettlebell clean and press, final mini soccer, volleyball and chess tournaments.
The best sportsmen, who made a major contribution to the development of physical culture and sports in the city and its districts, were solemnly awarded with Certificates of Honour and Grateful Letters from the State Administration and the Soviet of People’s Deputies. The performances of sport group “Dancing aerobics”, karatekas, boxers and fighters were shown at the end of the solemn opening ceremony. The competition itself lasted for several hours. The students of our branch took part in arm wrestling, volleyball and track-and-fields competition and showed the following results:
Arm wrestling: Oleinik Alexandr took the 1st place;
Track-and-field athletics: Statnik Artur, Tsurkan Raisa, Luybinsky Evgeny, Poprushko Nadezhda took the 1st place;
Volleyball: Babii Olga, Silin Dmitry, Chebotar Evgeny, Shpak Nikolai, Bondar Dmitry took the 2nd place.
