DEFENSE OF THESIS RESEARCH PROJECTS
On June 18 an important event in the life of graduate students, Specialty “Information Science” with an additional specialty “Foreign Language” was held, that was, the defense of thesis research projects at the Physics, Mathematics and Information Science Chair.
It was their last step in the learning process and the first step to their professional activity. Five years of study are behind, hard work of a teacher is ahead, work of a man who has to form younger generation’s skills and proper use of computer technology with his actions, behaviour, to develop algorithmic thinking, to acquaint with those who successfully solve information problems in various subject areas. Topics of the presented researches were quite diverse. Thus, the following reports were presented:
- Bugaenko Alexander “Differentiated training in Information Science in secondary school”;
- Keeper Olga “Out-of-school activities as a method to increase motivation of schoolchildren in the study of Information Science”;
- Kryzhanovskaya Tatiana “Development of an educational and methodical complex for Discipline “Computer modeling”;
- Lavrik Nikolai “Development and standardization of methodological support of school courses”;
- Novitsky Aleksei “Elective course on Web-programming as a means of organizing career guidance”;
- Rotar Dina “Electronic tracking on Discipline “Fuzzy Logics”;
- Harabadzhiu Yana “Problem of adaptation of young specialists in school”;
- Chabanenko Irina “Using interactive technologies in class of Information Science in secondary school”.
At the end of speeches the Commission Chairman, Korovai Olesya, the Dean of the Physics, Mathematics and Information Science Faculty of the Pridnestrovian State University, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, noted a high level of students’ preparation, a responsible approach to creation and presentation of their research projects. All thesis research projects were evaluated with excellent marks. The best reports were ones of Harabadzhiu Yana and Rotar Dina. Besides, the Commission recommended to Kryzhanovskaya Tatiana and Rotar Dina to continue further studies in graduate centre school.
Announcement of results was either happy or a little sad, because we had to part with the colleagues who had demonstrated an excellent ability to work.
Parting words and best wishes in the future professional activity were a final note of the event.
