GRADUATE QUALIFICATION PAPER DEFENSE
On April 16 at the Department of Information Technologies and Software Engineering the external study mode 5th year students of the training program in 09.03.04 “Software Engineering” (specializing in “Software and Information Systems Development”) had the graduate qualification paper defense.
The subject matter of the qualification papers was connected with software and information systems development aiming to solve practical problems of different enterprises and organizations. These include the development of an online platform for agricultural products marketing, an online system for aftersales services account, a module to assess freshmen’s psychological adjustment to the educational process at the Rybnitsa branch of the PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko, an Electronic Labour Exchange platform for the Prindestrovian region, a service to create trip tickets for taxi drivers, an information system to control the task performance in a company, a portal for a furniture company. One more problem to solve represented the retail business processes automation for an enterprise.
2 graduate qualification works were assessed as “excellent” and 6 as “good”.
The State Examination Board chairman, head of the Information Technology Governance at the “Rybniza Cement Plant”, Novitsky Stanislav A. and the examination board members noted the great practical importance of the projects and recommended all the students to undertake the master’s degree.
